Mouse Draws Your Stuff
ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Mouse and I'm a queer artist living in the midwest that does mostly digital art and acrylic paintings with the rare graphite/pencil work. I especially enjoy doing character art and animals and I specialize in crisp, clear inks. I run a small webcomic that updates very infrequently. Occasionally I also make jewelry, pyrography, screen prints or other physical crafts. Please see my etsy page for more details.

Will/Won't do
Will: Draw most things in most styles. My default style is easiest and cheapest. I will draw almost anything including working from description only, character and species design, complicated or sparkledog designs, common phobias, gore, most NSFW, etc. The harder it is to work on the more I may charge or I may ask for a deposit up front. Please message me to ask if you have any questions. For NSFW art, I will ask to do an age verification unless you've already gone through one I know and trust.Won't: -Anything illegal to depict or doesn't pass the Harkness Test. (Note that intelligent fantasy animals or terato are OK.)
-Depictions of real people that are not the commissioner or giving the commissioner consent for me to draw them
-Anything based on AI references
-Hate speech or bigotry not depicted in a negative light (such as slurs, nazi imagery, etc.)
-Extreme realism, it's just beyond my ability to do in a reasonable time frame.
Color Character Art
$15-$50+
Headshots $15+
Halfbodies $35+
Fullbodies $50+
Refsheets $50+
Backgrounds $50+
Any image of a character, alone posed with other characters. These characters may be free floating, on a background, or have set piece elements. You can request flat color or a couple different shading styles. When most people think of ordering art of a character this is what they think of. When you send me the references of your character and what you want I will send you back a quote. The price may vary a lot based on how complicated the character is. Very complicated characters are simply more time consuming to draw than simple ones.
Policies/Artist Contract
By requesting a commission from this artist you agree that you have read and agreed to these terms. No art will be started until the buyer agrees to the price. Asking for a quote is always OK.There is no haggling of prices. The quote for a request is final and will vary based on pose dynamics, complexity, and style.Price must be paid in full before the work is completed. No art past the sketch stage will be sent until payment is completed. Failure to provide payment after the sketch stage will result in being placed on a blacklist/warn list and/or the sketch repurposed into a base for future use.Very expensive or physical work may require a deposit in advance. The work will be completed within 6 months unless otherwise agreed upon in advance or there is extreme extenuating circumstances. Simple pieces will be completed faster. Usual TAT is a couple weeks. The artist will provide multiple updates including a minimum of one pose example, one sketch, one ink, and one flat color during the creation process if those things were part of the order. These updates (or earlier) are when the buyer may request appropriate changes to the work (for example the buyer may not request major pose changes during the coloring or inking phase). The artist will wait no more than one week for a response asking for changes after sending a WIP before moving to the next stage (assuming payment has been rendered). While change requests are normal and an expected part of the process, if a significant excess of changes are requested such that it substantially changes the length of time to complete the work beyond what is reasonable, the artist reserves the right to cancel the service or request a higher payment. The buyer receives the right to repost the signed version of the work, including altered as long as the signature is visible on the work or with credit given to "ChocolateMouse" or "AChocolateMouse" and use it privately unless otherwise negotiated. The buyer also may re-sell it or trade the art if it is associated with a character they own as long as appropriate credit is given. If a character or design is sold to or created for a client, the client has complete rights to that character, including its design, for anything but commercial use. If commercial use rights are needed feel free to ask. Links to this carrd or other socials are appreciated but not required. The buyer agrees not to use the work or characters created to support bigotry, hate speech, abuse of minors/animals, or terrorist organizations. The artist reserves the right to post the image to galleries and share the image as an example to future clients unless otherwise negotiated including for character/design sales. The artist reserves the right to deny requests or cease work for any reason before the final image has been sent and refund the buyer all funds except for pre-negotiated nonrefundable deposits, withdrawing rights to the artists work.

They may be very complex and artistic depending on the request or very simple. Both are depicted as dark lines on a single color light background. There may be some shading in the form of crosshatches or line weight depending on the request.
Paintings, digital and traditional
$50+ for digital, $100+ for physical paintings
Typically expensive, usually takes several hours to do unless very simple
Physical canvases can be shipped
I offer digital and physical paintings at higher prices. Because these types of pictures take a lot longer to complete, you can expect them to cost a lot more than a rendered fullbody or ink. They will also take longer to create than my usual TAT of a couple weeks. For physical paintings, I work in exclusively acrylics and offer exclusively unframed canvases. A physical painting requires a nonrefundable deposit. A 12"x12" canvas can easily take 10-20 hours to paint depending on the request and will have material costs and shipping expenses. Please feel free to reach out to me for a quote.
